Becoming an officer
Officer elections are held at the Latino Caucus Business Meeting at the annual meeting of the American Political Science Association. A nominating committee may solicit nominations for officers up to 2 weeks before the scheduled date of the meeting. Active members (those current with dues) are invited to run for officer positions. Terms begin and end at the APSA business meeting of the year elected. Contact the current president if you would like more information about running for an office in an upcoming academic year.
